The Forbes' landscape encompasses delightful contrasts between formal designs and playful details. Their lot in Rock Creek has a spectacular view across open space and to the mountains, but is also very steep with sticky, heavy clay soil.
The backyard was primarily designed to be viewed from a new upstairs deck, as the only back door is onto the deck. Where the deck steps come down to the compass garden, there is fragrant, colorful, herb garden. |
